A long overdue update has finally come to light.  Not just the new design for the website but in my life in general.  It’s time for a fresh start, or rather, a fresh outlook on everything.  I’m eradicating the negative thoughts, deeds and actions that are my own or thrust upon me due to circumstances that are out of my control. As I rebuild myself, I rebuild my website.

While some people meditate or find solace in religion or a philosophy I’ve found that doing something creative is what helps keep me ground – and lately I feel that has become a missing necessity. I craved the creative but it wasn’t there.

As you can tell from this site, I freelance as a web designer and developer. So you would assume the creative side I so desire is all around me.  It’s not.  There’s a huge difference between being creative for others and being creative for yourself and it’s all about freedom.

Working for someone else means you’re looking into their artistic soul and trying to decipher the end result that they envision but can’t produce on their own. You simple become a tool being used like any other instrument.

Looking Up

So it’s time that I learn to stop every now and then, give myself a breather and look up and around for a creative outlet that will fulfill an emptiness that has crept its way inside me like a cancer. Hopefully, by giving myself a fresh start online this will be a journey that can be shared and learned from.
