While I freelance some work through this site I have been doing the majority of my work through Lowcows.com. With Lowcows.com I work with other freelancers, who I’ve built up relationships with over my many years of working from home, to create low cost solutions for small to mid size businesses. It’s a great experience and while I will continue to work with those other freelancers from time to time – I need a change.
The first change will be adding on a partner in crime. Someone who enjoys the tasks I dislike and in turn dislikes the duties I love. The balance of yin and yang will be there.
The second change will be to rebrand the Lowcows.com website. Less ‘cartoonish’ more professional. Don’t expect me to start using stock images, crisp lines and white backgrounds – that’s still not my style.
The last change – for the moment – will be to add on a few new services and expand the old. While I did provide SEO services for my clients the majority of that was through the backend. The sites are great for SEO but as far as picking your keywords, proper naming of pages and files (to name a few) that was up to the client. This will be a new service that my partner will handle.
You may also see that we drop a few of the WordPress packages that I currently have. We’ll go from four different packages to just two. This should make it easier for potential clients to find what they need and then add on only the services they need or want – which should save them money up-front. In the long run… it should about even out.
When will the changes happen? They’re actually underway right now. I’ll keep you informed of when the new site is finished and we’re ready to roll.
