Add Default Text for WordPress Pages and Posts
Making the WordPress ‘default_content’ hook work in your favor by easily adding default text to new pages, new posts or both. The code for this is slightly adapted from other ‘default text’ code I’ve seen online because it allows you to distinguish between whether you’re adding a new page or a new post.

Allison’s Birthday Invitations

Prevent Profile View for Users in WP
Prevent ‘Subscribers’ from viewing any portion of your WordPress administration area. The code can be adapted to fit your needs – block out any WordPress user based on level from various parts of the admin section. Very handy if you’re working with user registration at your blog.

Ansco Rediflex
I picked up a Ansco Rediflex from the St. Agnes church rummage the other day for 50 cents. I figured that the low cost of the camera would make it a good trial for diving into cleaning and fixing up cameras. If worse comes to worse the camera will make a good start to my camera collection. Camping – Instagrams
I had the chance to really put the Instagram (iPod Touch/iPhone) app to the test this weekend on a camping trip. I have to save that if I didn’t love this app before, I do now. The filters are great and being able to import photos from other applications is a huge win in my book.

Photography Apps
For Father’s Day I was given an iPod Touch by my daughter (and wife). While now being able to skip loading my car with CDs adding some excellent apps opens a whole new world of photography for me. Four quick reviews of Instagram, Dermandar, Pocketbooth and HalfTone photo apps.

New Version of DMG WP Theme Options Coming Soon

Client Management Plugin
I’m undertaking the development of a Client Management plugin for WordPress. This is a personal project that should help in keeping track of clients, projects, price quotes, payments and invoices. All this will of course be housed on a personal server to keep sensitive data safe.
