Ansco Rediflex
I picked up a Ansco Rediflex from the St. Agnes church rummage the other day for 50 cents. I figured that the low cost of the camera would make it a good trial for diving into cleaning and fixing up cameras. If worse comes to worse the camera will make a good start to my camera collection. Camping – Instagrams
I had the chance to really put the Instagram (iPod Touch/iPhone) app to the test this weekend on a camping trip. I have to save that if I didn’t love this app before, I do now. The filters are great and being able to import photos from other applications is a huge win in my book.

Photography Apps
For Father’s Day I was given an iPod Touch by my daughter (and wife). While now being able to skip loading my car with CDs adding some excellent apps opens a whole new world of photography for me. Four quick reviews of Instagram, Dermandar, Pocketbooth and HalfTone photo apps.

A Happy Accident
Even breaking a lens can have a positive side to it. For me it was the re-introduction of playing around with my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens. I’ve overlooked it for too long.
