I’m by no means a professional photographer, even if I wish I were. Maybe a knowledgeable hobbyist at best. From time to time though I do take on the occasional photo session and really enjoy showing my work.
I had the chance to really put the Instagram (iPod Touch/iPhone) app to the test this weekend on a camping trip. I have to save that if I didn’t love this app before, I do now. The filters are great and being able to import photos from other applications is a huge win in my book.
Even breaking a lens can have a positive side to it. For me it was the re-introduction of playing around with my Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens. I’ve overlooked it for too long.
In 2008 a my wife and I went camping with some great friends at Point Beach State Park in Wisconsin. With the wonderful scenery and catching an early sunrise I just couldn’t pass up showing a few images from that weekend.
A few random images from a photo session with Scott Malcom for the artwork on his self-released CD, Irrational Disposition.
